Love him or hate him, Facebook founder Mark Zuckeberg still is in control of his company despite overwhelming pressure to take the leading social network to an IPO or acquisition. And it appears that he has beaten his most recent fight with ConnectU, the group of Harvard students (former classmates of Zuckeberg) who claimed that Mark pilfered their business concept and code to launch what is now the world’s largest online social network.
Facebook settled with ConnectU back in February, however they recently attempted to open the case back up citing additional evidence that would have helped secure a higher settlement amount. However, a few minutes ago that the judge has officially closed the case. I think the judge phrased it perfectly when he said that the students were feeling a little “Buyer’s remorse”.
