It’s taken me a couple days to find my favorite iPhone app, but I think I’ve found it.  You or may not know about Shazam, but you will soon.  They are a mobile music discovery provider, who allows users to seamlessly discover, buy and share tunes simply by holding their iPhone to music for just a few seconds.
