Disaboom , an online community for people with disabilities, today announced that it achieved one of its key benchmarks – a million unique visitors per month – months in advance of its own projections. “We knew we’d been making steady and substantial progress over the past months,” notes Disaboom CEO John Walpuck, “but these results greatly exceeded our expectations.” Disaboom reports:
“In addition, despite the current economic climate and capital market conditions, we continue to make solid progress with our revenues and collections, and continue to aggressively manage our expenditures” notes Walpuck, “we previously reported in October 2008 that our cash reserves should last until at least August of 2009; given our latest budget and financial projections, our cash reserves should last until at least October of 2009 by which time we expect to be cash flow positive.”
